Ficky Indrawan

Mr Ficky Indrawan is Head of Operation and Rig Manager for Eastern Drilling Rig ED - 01. With More than 15 years of expertise in International Drilling industries for Onshore and Offshore operation. 

He joined Eastern Drilling Limited in July 2020 as Acting Rig Manager during the care and maintenance phase. Leading a full time skilled operational unit, he is responsible for managing all rig preparations and drilling rig operations for the Eastern Drilling Rig #1.   He holds Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology - Indonesia. He is IADC qualified, a team leader of QHSE standards and is leading the charge to create solutions for clients in challenging, rugged and remote areas of Timor-Leste. A dynamic team leader who upholds the highest standards for safety, integrity and performance. 

Rig Supervisor  Mr Haryo Dipo is senior petroleum and drilling engineer with over 25 years of international experience in Petroleum drilling Onshore and Offshore.  He is IADC, well sharp surface drilling certified with work-over and well completion, upgrade, design and maintenance for onshore and offshore rigs.  He has expertise in several stuck pipes, fishing, hole cleaning and directional drilling, deep drilling and well control. Haryo has a wealth of experience and skill.  He has drilling & completion project experience and supervised operations on numerous land rigs and jack-up rigs.

Rig Superintendent  Mr Nurjaya has more than 25 years of international experience in onshore oil drilling. He is an innovative leader IADC drilling well sharp certified, work and well completion operator.  He has experience in upgrading, design and maintenance, including 500 horsepower to 2000 horsepower conventional rigs, joys stick rigs, cyber rigs, fast-moving rigs and pipe stuck work-over rigs.  He has also completed fishing, hole cleaning and directional drilling, deep drilling and well control.

Nurjaya has extensive experience in drilling, project completion and operation supervision on various onshore rigs in the region.

Rig Maintenance Supervisor, Mr Edi Sahputra, is a highly experienced and skilled electrician. He has more than 20 Years of international experience, performing as the Chief Electrician for more than 12 years for various international Operators.  He has worked on Jack-Up Gusto MSC CJ46-X100D 3000Hp National Varco Drilling Equipment with ABB AC Drive system, Jack-Up F&G design independent leg cantilever 2000Hp National Oilwell Drilling Equipment with Rosshill SCR Drive System, Submersible Drilling Rig 3000Hp with SCR Drive System and Semi-Submersible Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit 2000Hp with DC system before joining Eastern Drilling team in 2021.

Edi performs a vital role as the drilling supervisor during rig installation, commissioning, and endurance testing phases to ensure the rig is ready for operations. He utilises technology to achieve efficiencies and relies on his depth of experience, having performed extensive refurbishments on rigs, Jack-Up and Swamp Barge in Singapore and Johor yard for various international operations.

Edi has headed the maintenance team in Timor-Leste since January 2021.

He has embraced technology, working with the eMaintenance software system Fluke Reliability. He has also given the project and our supply chain robust quality controls to manage the procurement and maintenance of the Eastern Drilling assets and critical spare inventory to minimise the downtime for our clients.
